No. 6 Laura Mulvey

Laura Mulvey states that this world is imbalanced in the terms of sexual equality, she goes further to state that men desire women to look in a particular way and women also, style themselves to please these preferences of the men.

In the video below(Holiday by Dizzie Rascal) we can see a clear representation of what Mulvey is talking about:
Through out this video we see that all the women are wearing bikinis and exposing themselves to please the men in the video(including the artist). Where as the men have much more clothes on than the women. Mulvey's point of women styling themselves to please the men and, men being attracted to a particular look on a woman, thirty seconds into the video; where we see a female preparing herself(adjusting her bikini top and bottoms) just before the door is opened by a male, we see that the he does not make eye contact with the woman instead, he is fixated on her physical attributes.
This video also shows another of Mulvey's points; that women are mostly decapitated in music videos(made by men). This shows further that the men are only interested in the physical properties of the women than anything else.

Another video which is great example to prove Mulvey's theory is Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke:

Throughout this video we see that the women are either naked or half naked as they dance and flirt with the men in the video. Again we see that the men are clothed and make very little eye contact with the women, as they are only interested in their physical attributes.
